There were a TON of instructions on this one. Long story short:

Take an old picture of yourself and a new picture. Use 2 papers, 2 hearts, 4 buttons, 2 ribbons, 2 strings, 2 frames, 4 flowers, 4 metal objects, 2 leaves, 2 glitter items, and 2 flourishes. Use 10 words to describe yourself and title it, "This one is for me!" Here it is...

Tuesday Template Challenge

Scrapmatters has a fun template challenge today. Trixie Scraps has designed this adorable ditty...
...and you can get it for free right now HERE in the forum. All you have to do is turn your pics black and white, glam it up how you please, and then add it to the rest of the layouts in the forum. I love FREE....Here is mine. Have fun!

OK, so Challenge #5 had some pretty simple requirements. They were...

1. The page must have something to do with chocolate

2. You must choose and use at least 6 of the following items: ribbon, button, frame, flower, 2 papers, tree, stitching, staple, alpha, and tag.

Now I didn't have a lot of pictures of chocolate but Robb reminded me I took a picture of Bryce on our trip in the DR at the all you can eat buffet with chocolate smeared all over his face. So I used that as the start of my page. Here it is!

OK, challenge #4 of ADSR was a little different for me. We had to make trading cards. We each had to make one of our partner that showed some part of their personality and one of someone/people we care a lot about. They were supposed to be fun and a little whimsical. I'm not sure if I did that but this is what I came up with. I did one of my adorable kids and of course one of my superly awesome friend Erica. (I love making up words.)

So my very persuasive friend Erica talked me into doing ADSR, the Amazing Digital Scrapbook Race. I mean, who doesn't need one more thing to do, right? Apparently this is the fifth year but the first time I've heard of it. You get a partner and you "race" through different challenges and then get some sweet prizes. Anything that helps me get all my pictures scrapbooked right?

So the first challenge was to scraplift a layout FROM your partner and make it ABOUT your partner to introduce her to everyone in the race. Here is what I came up with for Miss Erica. I was hesitant about using the pic but then ended up LOVING it.

The second challenge was everything about the #5. You had to title it, "5 Things I love about..." and then pick something. You had to use 5 pictures one of which had to actually have the #5 in it (mine is on the bottom middle pic on the plane), you had to use 5 different fonts in your title (which was HARD), and you had to use 5 different versions of the same element (I used stitches).

It's been pretty fun so far!
