ADSR #10

OK, so this challenge had to be done together...one layout between 2 people. It had to be about what inspires you. So Erica and I thought and came up with adventure. Erica and I have done some pretty fun and scary things together which always gets your mind hopping and juices flowing so we thought that fit well.

Erica came up with the main design and then I just added a couple things and journaled and titled it.

Hey Baby

So much new fun stuff. OK, first of all is Trixie Scraps new kit. I haven't had time to play with it yet but I HEART it mucho. It's on my to do list. I love Sk8ter Boy and the grunge and cool hip look of it. It's 20% off all weekend so hop over and get it. Image is linked...

ADSR #9

For this challenge, each partner had to pick opposing sides of the color wheel. Erica picked green which left me with red. I like red. :) After having a color you had to base it around some part of this:

You could use the quote, just use words from it, whatever you want.

The next requirement was to use paint in some way. A splatter, a smear, whatever.

And then you had to choose 7 of the following: swirls, glitter, black and white photo, 2 alphas, something metal, stitching, pattern paper, funky font, and journaling.

Here is what I came up with:

Card Swap

This week is card swap and I'm actually done with the card 3 days early?? What the??

Ha ha, just used stuff from my stash too which always feels good. The pattern paper is seriously like 4 years old from one of those big stacks. The stamp is Close to My Heart. I added a little silver vibe with the brad, staples, and silver cording on top. The challenge was to make a thank you card with torn paper somewhere.

ADSR #8

Not sure why this one was a tuffy for me but it took me all week to do and then I didn't even really love it in the end. Oh well...the challenge was to use a tone on tone paper for the background, basically two different shades of the same color. Then you had to have the theme, Someday. It could be the title or just in journaling or whatever. Then you had to use 10 elements which is always hard for me because I'm not much of a clusterer. I got a lot of comments on it though so I guess it's ok. I'm glad to be done with this challenge though!

Sneak Peek!

That's right, tomorrow is release day and look how fun this is going to be...

I mean if that doesn't get you in the mood for spring you've gotta be buried under 5 feet of snow! Adorable colors and lots of flowers. If you have girls, get ready cause this kit is GORGE!

ADSR #7

The challenge for #7 was to make a bucket list of 50 things you want to do before you die that are realistic. I took an adventure slant on the challenge. Now I know you may think some of these are NOT realistic but at the rate I'm traveling internationally and with my newly adventurous attitude I've found during my 30's...don't count me out!
